Tungufellsdalur is a valley close to the farm Tungufell, which is a woody area with Icelandic birch. A small river Dalsá runs through the valley and another small river called Svartá creates a small canyon in the walley. It is possible to walk in the birch area on marked paths and the smell and the environment is wonderful.
Further in the walley it is possible to walk to the famous waterfall Gullfoss but that takes about 30 minutes to walk there.
